Abstract:
The invention relates to a steering shaft (1) for a motor vehicle steering system (100) for use with a power-assisted support system (112, 114, 116), said shaft comprising an input shaft (10) and an output shaft (12) which are interconnected in a torsionally elastic manner in order to transmit a torque by means of a torsion bar (3). A joining section (30, 32) of the torsion bar (3) is connected to a joining receiving element (40, 42) of the input shaft (10) and/or the output shaft (12), said joining section (30, 32) having partial elevations (300) for forming a force-locked and form-locked connection to the joining receiving element (40, 42) of the input shaft (10) and/or the output shaft (12).
