Abstract:
A step counting method and apparatus, and an electronic device (100) and a computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a resultant acceleration, and performing peak value detection on the resultant acceleration, so as to obtain several peak value moments (S101); respectively calculating a time interval between every adjacent peak value moment (S102); if the time interval is in a first interval, adding one to a step count (S103); if the time interval is in a second interval, screening three-axis gyroscope data to obtain sensitive axis data (S104); and if the sensitive axis data corresponding to the time interval meets a step counting condition, adding two to the step count (S105). Step counting is performed by using an acceleration and three-axis gyroscope data together, such that a missing detection of a peak value occurring in acceleration peak value detection due to factors such as a small swing amplitude can be detected, and thus step counting is accurately performed, thereby improving the step counting accuracy.
