Abstract:
Provided is a step-guiding device for a passenger conveyor, said device being capable of suppressing sliding noises during long-term operation of passenger conveyor. The step-guiding device for a passenger conveyor comprises: a guide shoe that is positioned on a lateral surface of a step of a passenger conveyor, and makes contact with a skirt guard of the passenger conveyor; and a support body that is provided on the lateral surface of the step and supports the guide shoe in a state in which a distance of at least 90% of the length of the surface of the guide shoe that is in contact with the skirt guard in the sliding direction is maintained and the support body is in contact with the surface of the guide shoe on the opposite side to the surface in contact with the skirt guard.
