Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to improve quality of images obtained with a pupil division-format stereoscopic image capture device. First and second images obtained with a stereoscopic image capture device according to the present invention comprise object shading in a pupil division direction. Compositing the first and second images thus gives rise to reference data wherein the shading is canceled out. It is possible to determine degrees of shading correction of the first and second images on the basis of the reference data, and to correct the shading of the first and second images on the basis of the degrees of shading correction thus determined.
