Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of electrical equipment. Specifically provided are a sterilization control method for an air conditioner, and an air conditioner. An indoor unit of the air conditioner comprises: a shell, a fan, a sterilization apparatus, a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor, wherein the sterilization apparatus is arranged close to an air outlet of the shell, and numerical values of the two pressure sensors are respectively used for reflecting the installation state of a liquid storage tank and the amount of sterilization liquid in the liquid storage tank. The sterilization control method comprises: after receiving a sterilization instruction, acquiring a numerical value of a first pressure sensor and a numerical value of a second pressure sensor; and according to the numerical value of the first pressure sensor and the numerical value of the second pressure sensor, selectively running a fan and a sterilization apparatus, so as to sterilize a room. A sterilization apparatus can spray a sterilizing agent in the form of a mist, and after a fan starts, the sterilizing agent in the form of a mist can flow to various positions of a room along with air blown from an air outlet, so as to sterilize the room; and the normal running of the sterilization apparatus is guaranteed by means of the numerical values of two pressure sensors.
