Abstract:
The present invention provides: a sterilization member capable of reducing the quantity of bacteria in a cosmetic; and a cosmetic container. The sterilization member is formed by dispersing, in a resin, fine metal particles that have a bacteria reducing effect, and the fine particles are not exposed on the surface of the sterilization member. The types of metal are prescribed in accordance with the types of bacteria that are expected to cause problems at specific positions inside a cosmetic container.
