Abstract:
A sterilization method and a sterilization system are provided that are suitable to use in a fresh food distribution process. This sterilization method involves: a first sterilization step in which the surface of the fresh food is sterilized by spraying vaporized sterilizing water onto the fresh food; and a second sterilization step in which, when fresh food has undergone the first sterilization step and has been packaged in containers and said containers are arranged in a space surrounded by walls for transport or storage, sterilizing water is vaporized and released into the space to sterilize the space.
