1. A method for sterilizing paper towels and toilet papers, characterized by;

- sterilizing the paper (2) unfolded on a belt from the first raw material roll (1) by giving purple light on both surfaces by means of purple light sources (3).

2. A method according to claim 1, characterized by; the completion of the sterilization process before the papers (2) become shorter rolls again, by giving purple light from both the bottom and top of the paper (2) unfolded on a belt from the first raw material roll (1), by means of purple light sources (3) from both the bottom and the top.

Description:
STERILIZATION METHOD WITH PURPLE LIGHT FOR PAPER TOWEL AND TOILET

PAPER

Technical Field

The invention relates to an improved method for sterilizing both surfaces of the paper unwrapped from the raw material roll by means of purple lights during the production process of paper towels and toilet papers.

Prior Art

Today, paper towels and toilet papers are widely used products in all households. Since these products are generally in direct contact with the human body, sterilization is of great importance. Currently, there is no sterilization process for paper towels and toilet papers. Although sterilization is done for wet wipes, such an application is not made for paper towels and toilet papers.

The production process of these products is as follows. In the first stage, large raw material rolls (cores) come to the production line, both in width and in length. Paper raw material rolls used in our country are imported from abroad and come ready for production.

In the second stage, raw material rolls with large width and length are unrolled on the belt and cut at the same width but in lower lengths, and the unrolled raw material is rewound. As a result, rolls with the same width but shorter lengths are obtained.

In the third and final stage, the paper rolls, which are brought to the desired length, are cut transversely to the desired size this time, and the final products are obtained. In the patent search, no patent application similar to the invention method was found. In addition, the patent application numbered TR2016/05470 is related to the quality control of textile products, which are used in the quality control of knitted and woven fabrics in the textile industry, allowing visual inspection of defects on the textile product after production under ultraviolet 360-365mm wavelength purple light. The closed cabinet, which provides a dark environment for the quality control of the fabric coming out of the production by the personnel, consists of an LED luminaire with a wavelength of 360-365mm giving purple light to the dark cabinet. The Object of the Invention

Based on the state of the art, the main purpose of the invention is to develop a sterilization method for sterilizing both surfaces of the paper by means of purple lights during the production process of paper towels and toilet papers.

Another purpose of the invention is to sterilize the paper raw material coming from abroad and to prevent the risk of posing a risk to human health.

Another purpose of the invention is that, said sterilization method can be easily applied to the current production process and practically sterilization of both surfaces of the paper on the belt is carried out by means of purple light sources without the need for large investments.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The invention relates to an improved method for sterilizing both surfaces of the paper (2) opened from the raw material roll (1) by means of purple light emitted from purple light sources (3) during the production process of paper towels and toilet papers.

Currently, there is no sterilization process for paper towels and toilet papers. Although sterilization process is carried out for wet wipes, such an application is not made for paper towels and toilet papers. The production process of paper towels and toilet papers generally consists of three stages. In the first stage, large raw material rolls (cores) come to the production line, both in width and in length. Paper raw material rolls used in our country are imported from abroad and come ready for production.

In the second stage, raw material rolls with large width and length are unrolled on a band and cut at the same width but in lower lengths, and the unrolled paper (2) from the raw material roll (1) is rewound. As a result, rolls with the same width but shorter lengths are obtained. In the third and final stage, the paper rolls, which are brought to the desired length, are cut transversely to the desired size this time, and the final products are obtained. Thanks to the method of the invention, the sterilization of the products is ensured by the application of purple light between the first stage and the second stage. That is, the sterilization process is completed before the papers (2) turn into shorter lengths again, by giving purple light from the bottom and top by means of purple light sources (3) on both surfaces of the paper (2) unfolded on a belt from the first raw material roll (1).

Thanks to the method subject to the invention, the risk of posing a risk to human health is prevented by sterilizing the paper raw material coming from abroad. The sterilization method applied can be easily applied to the existing production process, and practically sterilization of both surfaces of the paper (2) on the belt is carried out by means of purple light sources (3) without the need for large investments.
