Abstract:
Steroid derivatives from which various estran derivatives (estran-3-O-sulfamate derivatives serving as an inhibitor of estrogen sulfatase producing estrogen which is a causative factor of estrogen-dependent mammary cancer, mammalian steroid 5-$g(a)-reductase inhibitor, etc.) can be easily introduced and which are industrially advantageous from the viewpoint of handling. Namely, steroid derivatives represented by the following general formula (III-1) wherein R?1¿ represents alkyloxycarbonyl, alkenyloxycarbonyl, alkynyloxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl or aralkyloxycarbonyl.
