Abstract:
Provided are a stethoscope and an electronic stethoscope device capable of measuring biological sounds at a high SN ratio. This stethoscope is provided with a support base and a detection unit which is supported by the support unit and detects sounds from an object being measured. The detection unit has a piezoelectric film at at least a portion for detecting sounds from the object being measured, the piezoelectric film being disposed to face the support base and being curved in the direction away from the support base. The piezoelectric film is provided with: a piezoelectric layer having two main surfaces facing each other; a first electrode provided on the support base-side main surface of the two main surfaces; and a second electrode provided on the main surface on the opposite side from the support base. The stethoscope detects distortion generated in the piezoelectric film by sounds from the object being measured as a vibration signal.
