Description:
STICK HAVING LIGHT EMITTER Technical Field The present invention relates to a stick having a light emitter, and in particular to a stick having a light emitter capable of obtaining a visual field in a walking street at dawn or during a night climbing by installing a light emitter provided at a certain portion of a mountain climbing stick and operated based on a simple switch operation for thereby preventing a safety accident due to a false step, so that it is possible to achieve a safety walk at dawn and during a mountain climbing. In addition, the present invention may be adapted to a stick having a light emitter that is used for supporting an aged or weak person including a disabled person, so that a certain visual field is obtained in a walking street at dawn or during a night period for thereby achieving a safe walking.

Background Art Generally, a stick is I inearly extended from a handle in a straight-line shape. The stick is a kind of a walking assistant tool capable of assisting an old or weak person suffering from a problem in legs or a disabled person.

In addition, a stick is used for preventing a safety accident due to a false step when climbing an up or down hill and achieving an easier walk.

Figure 1 is a view of a mountain climbing stick 10. As shown therein, a

straight reinforced part 14 is extended from a T-shaped handle 12.

The reinforced part 14 is formed based on a telescope type multiple step structure, so that a user can select and adjust the length. A tightening part 16 is provided at an end of each reinforced part 14 for fixing each reinforced member 14.

Therefore, in the case that a person climbs a mountain using the above mountain stick 10, the person holds the handle 12 and adjusts the length of the reinforced part 14 and supports the weight of the body using the mountain climbing stick 10, so that the person can easily climb the mountain.

However, the sun rises later and sets earlier in the deep mountain, so that it is impossible to obtain a desired visual field at dawn or in an earlier evening. Therefore, a certain safety accident may occur because a person may have a false step at a downhill or up hill.

The mountain climber generally carries a flashlight. In this case, the mountain climber must carry much baggage such as a pack, a mountain climbing stick, a flashlight, etc. for thereby causing inconvenience. In the case that the person does not prepare the flashlight due to carelessness, many problems may occur when going up and down the mountains at dawn or during the night.

Even when the person has a flashlight, the person must carry the mountain climbing stick with one hand and the flashlight with the other hand, so that the person must go up and down the mountains with both hands being

loaded with the sticks and flashlight for thereby causing a safety accident.

Disclosure of Invention Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a stick having a light emitter that overcomes the problems encountered in the conventional art.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a stick having a light emitter capable of achieving a desired safety by installing a light emitter turned on based on a simple switch operation at a portion of a mountain climbing stick for thereby obtaining a visual field in a walking area during the mountain climbing at dawn or during the night and preventing a safety accident due to the false step.

It is further another object of the present invention to provide a stick having a light emitter capable of achieving a visual field of a walking area at dawn or during the night by adapting the present invention to a walking assistant stick used for a common disabled person ore an old and weak person.

To achieve the above objects, in a stick in which a plurality of reinforced parts 14 are extended from a handle part 12 in a straight line shape, there is provided a stick having a light emitter, comprising a groove 20 having a certain size and formed at a slanted portion of a front side of a lower portion of the handle part 12 of the stick 10; a lamp 30 installed in the groove 20; a power supply part installed in a handle part 12 or a reinforced part 14 for supplying a

power to the lamp 30; and an on and off switch 40 installed in one side of the handle part 12 and connected with the lamp 20 and the power supply part through a circuit for thereby selectively supplying a power to the lamp 30.

The groove 20 is formed at an angle of about 45° in the downward direction with respect to the forward direction, so that the lamp 30 lights in the forward and lower directions.

A groove 20-1 having a certain size is formed at a front side of a tightening part 16 installed at an end of the reinforced member 14 of the stick 10, and a lamp 30-1 is installed in the groove 20-1.

Brief Description of Drawings The present invention will become better understood with reference to the accompanying drawings which are given only by way of illustration and thus are not limitative of the present invention, wherein; Figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating a conventional mountain climbing stick; Figure 2 is a perspective view illustrating a mountain climbing stick having a light emitter according to the present invention; and Figure 3 is a perspective view illustrating a mountain climbing stick having a light emitter according to the present invention.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Figure 2 is a perspective view illustrating a mountain climbing stick having a light emitter according to the present invention. As shown therein, a groove 20 having a certain size is formed in a slanted portion of the front lower portion of the handle 12 of the mountain climbing stick 10. A lamp 30 is installed in the groove 20.

The groove 20 is formed in the direction of the lower side with respect to the forward direction at an angle of about 45°, so that the lamp 30 lights in the forward and lower direction.

A power supply part (not shown) adapted to supply the power to the lamp 30 is preferably installed in the handle part 12 or the reinforced part 14.

The handle part 12 is detachably provided for an exchange of the same.

In addition, an on and off switch 40 is provided at one side of the handle part 12 and is connected with the power supply part and the lamp 30 through a circuit.

When the user of the mountain climbing stick 10 according to the present invention goes up or down a mountain at dawn or during the night, the user turns on the on and off switch 40 installed at one side of the handle part 12, and the power supply part installed in the handle part 12 or the reinforced part 14 supplies power to the lamp 30 for producing light.

Therefore, the lamp 30 lights the forward and lower directions based on

the slanted angle, so that the mountain climber can safely go up and down the mountain.

Figure 3 is a perspective view illustrating a mountain climbing stick having a light emitter according to another embodiment of the present invention.

As shown therein, a light emitter may be installed in a tightening part 16 capable of connecting and tightening each reinforced part 14.

Namely, a groove 20-1 having a certain size is formed at a front side of the reinforced part 14, and a lamp 30-1 is installed in the groove 20-1.

Here, the lamp 30-1 is connected with a power supply part installed in the handle part 20-1 or the reinforced part 14 and the switch part 40 installed at one side of the handle part 12 through a circuit.

The use and operation of the mountain climbing stick 10 having the above construction is the same as the earlier embodiment of the present invention, so that the detained operation thereof will be omitted.

In the above descriptions of the embodiments of the present invention, the mountain climbing stick was descried as an embodiment of the present invention. However, the present invention may be adapted to a common stick generally used as a walk assisting tool by an old or weak person or a disabled person, so that it is possible to achieve a safe walking at dawn or during the night in which it is impossible to obtain a good visual field.

Industrial Applicability

As described above, in the present invention, in the stick having a light emitter according to the present invention, the lamp turned on and off based on an operation of the on and off switch is installed in a front side of the stick.

When a mountain climber or an older or weak person or a disabled person goes up and down the mountain at dawn or during the night, the person can obtain a good visual field using the stick having a light emitter according to the present invention, so that it is possible to obtain a good visual field and a safe mountain climbing and walk.

As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
