Abstract:
The present invention has an implant device 10 that is embedded in the body of an animal subject including a human and that is communicably connected to a control device 20 that is disposed outside the body of said subject. The implant device 10 involves detecting an electrical signal as a physiological signal at a prescribed site within the subject's body, transmitting detection information indicative of temporal changes of said electrical signal, receiving, from the control device 20, a stimulus instruction indicative of a stimulus to be applied to the subject's body, and applying an electrical stimulus to the prescribed site within the subject's body in accordance with said stimulus instruction.
