Abstract:
This Stirling engine is provided with: a heating-side cylinder set including a pair of heating-side cylinders opposed to each other in a first direction, a pair of heating-side pistons which are reciprocably arranged in the respective heating-side cylinders, and a heating-side piston rod connecting the heating-side pistons; and a cooling-side cylinder set including a pair of cooling-side cylinders opposed to each other in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a pair of cooling-side pistons reciprocably arranged in the respective cooling-side cylinders, and a cooling-side piston rod connecting the cooling-side pistons. The cylinder sets, as a rotary assembly (5), rotate around a housing central axis (CL2) together with a housing.
