Abstract:
The invention relates to a stirring implement (1), in particular for a kitchen appliance, having a base part (2), which can rotate about a rotation axis (3), and at least one paddle stirrer (7) which is mounted in a freely rotatable manner in the base part (2) and of which the rotation axis (8) is arranged radially offset in relation to the rotation axis (3) of the base part (2), wherein at least two stirring paddles (11) extend radially outward from the rotation axis (8) of the paddle stirrer (7). According to a first embodiment of the invention, the flow resistance coefficient of the stirring paddles (11) differs when struck from the front and rear, wherein the outer contour of the stirring paddles (11) runs substantially equidistant to the rotation axis (8) of the paddle stirrer (7). In this case, the stirring paddles (11) are preferably bent in an arcuate manner through a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis (8) of the paddle stirrer (7). As a result, firstly automatic rotation of the paddle stirrers (7) is assisted but, furthermore, the product being stirred is wiped off from the walls of the usually cylindrical stirring vessel. According to another embodiment of the invention, provision is made for the stirring paddles (11) to have slots (13). When working with cream and the like, these slots lead to improved frothing. The stirring implement according to the invention is preferably used to stir liquid to slightly pasty products.
