Abstract:
A stone corner removing machine serves to round corners of stone. The machine comprises a cylindrical body (2) having at both end surfaces thereof a charge port and a discharge port and adapted for rotational movement, a partition (3) dividing an interior of the cylindrical body (2) into a charge port side zone (2a) and a discharge port side zone (2b) and having a particle size adjusting gate (32) at a boundary with an inner wall surface of the cylindrical body (2), which gate permits only stone of a predetermined diameter or less to selectively pass therethrough, and a multiplicity of feed vanes (24) fixed to at least the inner wall of the charge port side zone of the cylindrical body (2) so as to protrude inward. During rotation, stone is cleared of corners thereof to be rounded while small stone, stone powder and waste stone pass through the particle size adjusting gate (32), so that the processing is enhanced in efficiency. If a trommel (9) is connected to the discharge port of the cylindrical body (2), it becomes possible to select stone or the like having passed through the discharge port.
