Abstract:
In this invention, after the temperature of a storage battery (100) has risen to a predetermined diagnosis temperature, a charge/discharge control unit (12) controls a charge/discharge circuit (4) so as to charge or discharge the storage battery (100). A current/voltage detection unit (5) detects the current and voltage of the storage battery (100) during the period when the storage battery (100) is being charged or discharged. A differential voltage calculation unit (13) calculates the differential voltage of the storage battery (100) on the basis of the detected current and voltage. A deterioration state estimation unit (14) estimates the deterioration state of the storage battery (100) on the basis of the variation in the calculated differential voltage.
