Abstract:
A storage battery device of an embodiment comprises a storage battery element, a variable voltage source, an interconnection reactor, a current detector and a control circuit. The storage battery element is connected to a DC electric line having first and second poles and is able to perform charging/discharging for the DC electric line. The variable voltage source is connected in series between the first pole of the DC electric line and the positive electrode of the storage battery element and is able to generate a DC voltage having a range of difference between the DC electric line and the storage battery element. The interconnection reactor is connected between the first pole of the DC electric line and the variable voltage source. The current detector detects a current following through the interconnection reactor. The control circuit drives and controls, by use of the current detected by the current detector, the variable voltage source so as to adjust the difference between the output voltage of the whole circuit and the output voltage of the aforementioned charging element.
