Abstract:
Provided is a storage container for cell-containing solution that is capable of enhancing the storage stability of cfDNA contained in a cell-containing solution even when stored in a room temperature environment. This storage container for cell-containing solution is a container for storing a preset amount of a cell-containing solution, comprises a container body and a storage solution that is housed in the container body, and includes a first or second constitution described below. In the first constitution, the storage solution contains a cell membrane-permeable compound having a molecular weight of 100 or less and not freezing at 0°C, and, when the preset amount of the cell-containing solution is collected into the storage container for cell-containing solution and mixed with the storage solution to give a liquid mixture X, the content of the cell membrane-permeable compound in the liquid mixture X is 1-5 vol%. In the second constitution, the storage solution contains a cell membrane-impermeable compound having a molecular weight of 300 or more and the content of the cell membrane-impermeable compound in the liquid mixture X is 0.5-5 μmol/L.
