Abstract:
A video storage device (1) comprises: a camera image acquisition unit (4); a super capacitor (2) that serves as an electric power supply source when electric power supply from a main electric power source device (9) is cut off; an electric power supply source switching unit (5) that switches the electric power supply source from the main electric power source device (9) to the super capacitor (2) when electric power supply from the main electric power source device (9) is cut off; a storage control unit (6) that stores in an SD card (8) captured images as individual video files for each forward camera (10) or the like; and an important file identifying unit (7) that identifies, out of a plurality of video files, a most important video file. When the electric power supply source is switched by the electric power supply source switching unit (5), the storage control unit (6) executes closing processing of the video file identified by the important file identifying unit (7) as the most important video file.
