A storage control device (10) and control method thereof, and a mobile storage device (30). The storage control device (10) comprises: a first interface (11), a second interface (12), and a gating circuit (13). If a terminal device supports a priority protocol, data is sent to the terminal device by means of the second interface (12) by using the priority protocol, and if the terminal device does not support a priority protocol, the data is sent to the terminal device by means of the second interface (12) by using an alternative protocol; or if the terminal device supports a priority protocol, the data sent from the terminal device is received by means of the second interface (12) by using the priority protocol, and if the terminal device does not support a priority protocol, the data sent from the terminal device is received by means of the second interface (12) by using an alternative protocol. The data is sent to a storage medium (32) by means of the first interface (11). By means of the method, the first interface (11) can be efficiently utilized to implement a high data transmission rate, so that waste of resources is avoided. In addition, an alternative protocol is supported, so that the range of use of the storage control device (10) is expanded.
