Abstract:

When a detachable storage medium having a storage unit including a program storing area and an information storing area, and an electronic circuit mounting an information-processing electronic circuit thereon, is connected to a device on a network, the device runs, in cooperation with the electronic circuit, a program stored in a program storing area to selectively display a heading image corresponding to a network and stored in the information storing area (S12), to start the connection and registration to a service provider on a corresponding network according to a selection instruction for a heading image desired by an operator (S13-15, S21), to retrieve an already-registered network other than a network registered by a current registration request for selectively displaying, and, when a desired network is selected, to display the network along with a format required for a canceling procedure (S17).
