Abstract:
The storage unit according to an embodiment of the present invention can be attached to a slot of an information processing device that opens in a first direction, said storage unit comprising a tray, an auxiliary storage device, and a relay connector. The tray has a shape that corresponds to the contour of the auxiliary storage device meeting a first standard. The auxiliary storage device is an auxiliary storage device meeting the first standard, wherein the connector is stored in the tray in a horizontal orientation facing a second direction that intersects the first direction. The relay connector has: a first connector that can be connected to the connector of the auxiliary storage device; and a second connector that can be connected to the connector of the information processing device facing in the first direction.
