Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of determining the store which a user is visiting. A store determination device 1 comprises: a calculation unit 12 that calculates the degree of similarity between user proximity information regarding the proximity between each of multiple users and other users and store proximity information regarding the proximity between each store and other users who are assumed to be users visiting the store; and a determination unit 13 that determines, on the basis of the degree of similarity calculated by the calculation unit 12, the store which a user is visiting. The proximity between users may be the proximity between portable terminals 2 carried by each of the users. The user proximity information and the store proximity information may include at least one piece of information related to: the number of other proximate users; the number of instances of being in proximity to other users; the time of being in proximity to other users; and a store which other proximate users are visiting or may be visiting.
