Abstract:
A stove device (100), comprising gas burners (110; 112), a user input (134) configured to define a power setting of the gas burners (110; 112), and fire grates (400; 402). The fire grates (400; 402) each comprise a sensor finger (410), on which a temperature sensor (450) is mounted. The temperature sensor (450) comprises a first temperature probe (452) extending above the top surface of the sensor finger (410) and a second temperature probe (453) positioned inside the sensor finger (410). The stove device (100) further comprises a controller (130) in communication with the temperature sensor (450). The temperature sensor (450) is configured to transmit a first temperature measurement value from the first temperature probe (452) and a second temperature measurement value from the second temperature probe (453) to the controller (130). The controller (130) is configured to determine the temperature of a cooking appliance, which is positioned on the top surface of the sensor finger (410), on the basis of the power setting defined by the user input (134), and the first temperature measurement value and the second temperature measurement value. A method for measuring the temperature of a cooking appliance on the stove device (100).
