Abstract:
A straddle-type monorail travelling mechanism and a rail vehicle. The straddle-type monorail travelling mechanism comprises traveling wheels, two bogies (1), guide electromagnets (3) mounted on both sides of each bogie (1) and used for guiding a vehicle, and linear motors (2) located on both sides between the two bogies (1). A metal induction structure (4) is arranged on both sides of a monorail, and the metal induction structure (4) is shared by the linear motors (2) and the guide electromagnets (3). Traction and braking by the linear motors make the traveling wheels no longer transmit the traction and braking force, thereby reducing wear and prolonging the service life of the traveling wheels.
