Abstract:
The present invention provides a straddled vehicle capable of adapting to a travel status the degree of shock the straddled vehicle experiences due to play in a power transmission member during acceleration and deceleration. The straddled vehicle is provided with: a power source; a driven member; a power transmission path including a first power transmission member and a second power transmission member; and a control device. The control device includes an acquisition unit and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires at least one parameter indicating either a degree of change in vehicle body behavior that can be caused by an increase or decrease in the torque of the power source, or a travel status of the straddled vehicle that can cause the acceleration and deceleration. The control unit, during a torque change period, performs a changing process for changing the torque output from the power source on the basis of the at least one parameter. The torque change period includes at least a part of a non-transmitting period between when the transmitting state switches to the non-transmitting state and when the non-transmitting state switches to the transmitting state due to acceleration and deceleration of the straddled vehicle.
