Provided is a strain sensor capable of increasing the accuracy of detecting strain in a measurement region of an object to be measured. The strain sensor comprises a substrate including a main face and having elasticity, and a first wiring and a second wiring provided on the main face. The substrate includes a sensing region capable of expanding and contracting in a first direction if viewed in planar view from the normal direction of the main face, and a first region and second region positioned facing each other with the sensing region interposed therebetween. Each of the first wiring and the second wiring extends to the first region, the sensing region, and the second region. The first wiring and the second wiring are electrically separated from each other and disposed spaced apart in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction in the sensing region. At least one of the first wiring and the second wiring includes a first wiring concentrated portion in which the wiring is disposed in greater concentration than in the sensing region, and at least one of the first wiring and the second wiring includes a second wiring concentration portion in which the wiring is disposed in greater concentration than in the sensing region.
