Abstract:
The objective of the present disclosure is to provide a stretchable film that can be used as a negative A plate. The stretchable film comprises a cellulose ester having an aromatic acyl group, wherein: an in-plane birefringence (Δnin) falls within the range of -10×10-4 to -80×10-4 when light having a wavelength of 450 nm to 751 nm is incident; an in-plane birefringence (Δnin (450 nm)) when light having a wavelength of 450 nm is incident, an in-plane birefringence (Δnin (589 nm)) when light having a wavelength of 589 nm is incident, and an in-plane birefringence (Δnin (751 nm)) when light having a wavelength of 751 nm is incident satisfy the following expressions (1) and (2); and the stretchable film has a thickness of 20 μm to 160 μm. (1): 0.9 <Δnin (450 nm)/Δnin (589 nm)<1.3, and (2): 0.8<Δnin (751 nm)/Δnin (589 nm)<1.2
