Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flexible and stretchable thermoelectric element which can be cooled and heated and, more particularly, to a flexible and stretchable thermoelectric element including: a thermoelectric material; at least one pair of elastic composites having flexibility and elasticity; and a first electrode and a second electrode which are deformable and are at least partially embedded in the elastic composites, wherein the first electrode and the second electrode are at least partially electrically connected to both sides of the thermoelectric material, respectively, whereby the thermoelectric element has excellent flexibility, stretchability, and thermal conductivity, and thus has excellent efficiency when cooled or heated, and is suitably applicable to a wearable device to be brought into contact with a human body.
