Abstract:
Provided is a stroboscopic device in which a light-emitting part is attached to a stroboscopic body and a distance sensor is provided only to the light-emitting part, wherein it is possible to accurately measure the distance to a subject. This stroboscopic device is characterized in that: a light-receiving element (6), which measures reflection light in a case when a light-emitting part (10) has performed pre-light-emission toward a target (T) as well as reflection light in a case when the light-emitting part (10) has performed pre-light-emission toward a bounce-imaging reflector (X), is provided to the light emitting part (10); a configuration is adopted in which control is performed by determining an appropriate tilt angle (θ3) of the light-emitting part (10) relative to a stroboscopic body (9) on the basis of the distance (La) to the target (T) and the distance (Lb) to the bounce-imaging reflector (X), which are based on detections made by the light-receiving element (6); and the directionality of the detections made by the light-receiving element (6) is inclined toward the stroboscopic body (9) in relation to the horizontal direction.
