Title:
STRUCTURAL ELEMENT FOR A FREE-FORM SURFACES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/064717
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a core of a structural element, wherein the core is substantially plate-shaped and has two preferably substantially parallel, opposite and spaced apart surfaces, wherein the core comprises, in at least one region, slots or grooves having a maximum width and depth, wherein the slots or grooves are at a distance from each another, wherein the space between two slots or grooves represents a substantially straight connecting section, wherein the distances of directly adjacent slots or grooves vary. The invention further relates to a method for determining a slot pattern or groove pattern for the formable core of a structural element, wherein at least one isoparametric curve (L
x
,L
y
) is extracted, wherein the at least one isoparametric curve (L
x
,L
y
) is oriented essentially orthogonally to the desired cutting direction (S
x
,S
y
) of the slots or milling direction of the grooves, wherein the isoparametric curve is approximated by a polygonal outline. The invention also relates to a method for a claimed structural element and to the use thereof.
