Abstract:
A structure (11) for attaching an electronic component to the inside surface of a pneumatic tire, comprising: a case (13) having a bottom plate (18), side walls (19), and a lid (20), an electronic component being mounted in an internal space established by the components of the case; and a rubber patch (12) disposed between the case (13) and the pneumatic tire inside surface. The rubber patch (12) has a bottom surface (14) attached to the pneumatic tire inside surface, and a front surface (15) provided to the opposite side of the bottom surface (14). Formed in the front surface (15) is a base surface (17) having a shape capable of bearing the bottom plate (18) of the case (13). The rubber patch (12) has a groove (21) in the front surface (15).
