Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel structure of an evaporation field, and a novel seawater-concentrating method using same, the structure enabling seawater to be concentrated to a desired level of salinity within a relatively short time so that concentrated seawater can be economically produced. According to the present invention, provided are a structure of an evaporation field, which naturally evaporates seawater to concentrate same, and a seawater-concentrating method using same, the structure having an absorbent member (12) provided on the bottom of an evaporation field (10) so that, if seawater, which is fed to the evaporation field (10), naturally evaporates to be concentrated, the absorbent member (12) is salted with concentrated seawater, and thus, if seawater is newly fed to the evaporation field (10) after the concentrated seawater is discharged to the outside, the salinity of the newly fed seawater increases by means of the salted absorbent member (12).
