Abstract:
A fastening structure is provided with (a) a guide mechanism (12, 21), (b) a press-fit mechanism (11, 12, 21) which, as one of members (1, 2) is advanced by the guide mechanism in a fastening start step, presses said member (1, 2) into the other member while gradually increasing elastic deformation of the other member and which, in a fastening release step, gradually reduces the elastic deformation applied to the other member by said member (1, 2), and (c) an engaging mechanism (13, 22) which, with the members (1, 2) in contact with each other when said member (1, 2) is advanced into the other member in the fastening start step, causes a rib (22) of the member (2) to engage with the member (1) to make the members (1, 2) engaged with each other. In the fastening release step, when circumferential force acts between the members (1, 2), axial force is generated by the guide mechanism, the engagement by the engaging mechanism is released by the axial force, and elastic deformation by the press-fit mechanism is reduced when the engagement by the engaging mechanism is released.
