Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a structure for the front part of a box-shaped vehicle, the structure being capable of sufficiently reducing the running resistance of the vehicle. [Solution] A box-shaped vehicle (10) has a front face (12) located below the front window (11) and extending substantially in the vertical direction. A bulging body (20) is provided on the front face (12) so as to be capable of expanding and contracting, and the bulging body (20) protrudes forward from the front face (12) so as to narrow in the direction ahead and reduces resistance to air. The bulging body (20) is constituted by a bag body which expands when filled with compressed air. When the running speed of the box-shaped vehicle is higher than or equal to a predetermined value, compressed air is introduced into the bulging body (20) and expands the bulging body (20). When the running speed of the box-shaped vehicle is lower than the predetermined value, air is discharged from the bulging body (20), thereby contracting the bulging body (20).
