Abstract:
The present invention concerns an integrated closing structure of a body and a cap for a refilling liquid container, and, more particularly, to an integrated structure of a body and a cap of a container used for refilling liquid, and hygienically used by an improved method of opening/ closing the cap, and in that the inventive structure can further be preferred by consumer in the market by raising the value as a product with improved quality according to a novel design of the invention.

Claims

[1] An integrated closing structure of a body and a cap of a refilling liquid container, characterized by comprising the cap (1), the body (2) and an outer cap (3), the cap (1) consisting of an opening (200) provided in the top center thereof, an outlet closing (70) provided on the internal side of the opening (200), a ring- shaped round recess 60 formed on top of the outlet closing (70), a primary closing ring projection (71), a ring-shaped closing groove (72), a secondary closing ring projection (73) and an elongated cap up-down projection (74); the body (2) to be coupled to the refilling liquid container consisting of a closing rod (10) and a closing ring projection (13) mutually coupled via a plurality of closing rod coupling support ribs (12) to provide a liquid outlet (11), a thread (22) and an elongated groove (21) formed on the outer wall to which the elongated cap up-down projection (74) of the cap (1) is coupled and integrated; and the outer cap (3) to be coupled to the outer side of the cap (1) comprising an outer cap knurl (82) and a knurl (66), the knurl (82) being spaced from and selectively engaged with the knurl (66) formed on the outer side of the cap (1), wherein the structure has a configuration that, if the outer cap (3) is pressed and rotated, the knurl (66) is engaged with the outer cap knurl (82) like a cogwheel, so that the cap (1) rotates, and it is then possible to take out the liquid in the refilling liquid container without completely detaching the cap from the body (2), and, if the outer cap (3) is simply rotated, the knurl (66) is not engaged with the outer cap knurl (82), so that the outer cap (3) runs idle.

Description STRUCTURE FOR JOINING BODY AND CAP TO THE VESSEL

Technical Field

[1] The present invention relates to an integrated closing structure of a body and a cap of a refilling liquid container. More particularly, the invention relates to an integrated closing structure of a body and a cap of a container used for refilling liquid, improved in that it is very convenient to take out the liquid in the container without fully removing the cap from the container body, and hygienically used by an improved method of opening/closing the cap, and in that the inventive structure can further be preferred in the market by raising the value as a product with improved quality according to a novel design of the invention. Background Art

[2] Generally, a refilling liquid container is filled with liquid, such as food, drinks, dish detergent, laundry detergent, softener in washing clothes, shampoo, rinse, etc. It may be of a synthetic resin container or vinyl pack.

[3] Such a refilling liquid container is used as it is, but a separate closing/opening body is sometimes joined or melt to the container, to which a cap is coupled to the body. The liquid in the refilling liquid container can be taken out by opening the cap. Such technology is disclosed in the Korea Utility Model Registration No. 205308, the products produced thereby currently being available in the market.

[4] According to the prior art technology, however, only after fully removing and detaching the cap from the body, it is possible to take out the liquid in the refilling liquid container, which is thus not a convenient way of using such liquid. Also, since the cap is fully opened or the cap may thereby be lost, it is sometimes not hygienic in some cases. It is thus not a sufficient way to encourage customers to buy and use refilling liquid due to a simple but old-fashioned way of opening/closing a cap. Disclosure of Invention

Technical Problem

[5] It is an object of the present invention to provide an integrated structure of a body and a cap of a container used for refilling liquid, improved in that it can be conveniently used by taking out the liquid in the container without fully removing the cap from the container, and hygienically used by an improved method of opening/closing the cap, and in that the inventive structure can further be preferred by customers in the market by raising the value as a product with improved quality according to a novel design of the invention.

Advantageous Effects

[6] Described above, according to one aspect of the invention, the inventive container can be conveniently used by taking out the liquid in the container without fully removing the cap from the container, and hygienically used by a method of improved opening/closing the cap, and in that the inventive structure can be preferred by consumers in the market by raising the value as a product with improved quality according to a novel design of the invention. [17] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[18] The aforementioned object of the invention is achieved by the integrated closing structure of a body 2 and a cap 1 of a refilling liquid container comprising the cap 1, the body 2 and an outer cap 3, wherein the cap 1 consists of an opening 200 provided in the top center thereof, an outlet closing 70 provided on the internal side of the opening 200, a ring-shaped round recess 60 formed on top of the outlet closing 70, a primary closing ring projection 71, a closing ring recess 72, a secondary closing ring projection 73 and an elongated cap up-down projection 74; wherein the body 2 to be coupled to the refilling liquid container consists of a closing rod 10 and a closing ring projection 13 mutually coupled via a plurality of closing rod coupling support stretchers 12 to form a liquid outlet 11, a thread 22 and an elongated groove 21 formed

on the outer wall to which the elongated cap up-down projection 74 of the cap 1 is coupled and integrated; wherein the outer cap 3 to be coupled to the outer side of the cap 1 comprises an outer cap knurl 82 and a knurl 66, the knurl 82 being spaced from and selectively engaged with the knurl 66 formed on the outer side of the cap 1. If the outer cap 3 is pressed and rotated, the knurl 66 and the outer cap knurl 82 are engaged each other like a cogwheel, so that the cap 1 rotates, and it is then possible to take out the liquid in the refilling liquid container without completely removing the cap 1 from the body 2. If the outer cap 3 is simply rotated, the knurl 66 and the outer cap knurl 82 are not engaged each other, so that the outer cap runs idle.

[19] Hereinafter, the preferred embodiments of the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[20] Fig.1 shows a cross section in a state that the body and the cap according to the invention are assembled. Fig.2 is a schematic perspective view of the body shown in Fig.1. Fig.3 is a cross section of the cap shown in Fig.1. Fig.4 is a front view of the cap shown in Fig.3. Figs.5a and b are a front view and an expanded top view of a key part of the body shown in Fig.l, respectively. Fig.6 shows a part partially cut in Fig.5a. Fig.7 is a cross section for an outer cap. Fig.8 shows a state that the outer cap shown in Fig.7 is equipped in the structure shown in Fig.l.

[21] As shown in those drawings, the structure according to the invention consists of a body 2 to be coupled to a refilling liquid container (not shown) and a cap 1 to be coupled to the body 2. The body 2 and the cap 1 are coupled in a form as shown in Fig.l.

[22] First, the cap 1 will be described. Referring to Figs.3 and 4, an opening 200 is formed in the top center of the cap 1. A closing rod 10 of the body 2 is placed in the opening 200. On the internal side of the opening 200, an outlet closing 70 is formed. On top of the outlet closing 70, a ring-shaped round recess 60 long in depth and depressed downward is formed. Since a typical prior art structure for a refilling liquid container does not have a recess similar to the inventive ring-shaped round recess 60, tight closing is not easily achieved. However, in the invention, the ring-shaped round recess 60 can provide a powerful closing effect thanks to its elastic expansion and contraction.

[23] On the upper internal side of the cap 1, a primary closing ring projection 71 is formed, on top of which a ring-shaped closing groove 72 is formed.

[24] A secondary closing ring projection 73 is further formed, which projects on the lower part of the primary closing ring projection 71 in a similar way to the primary closing ring projection 71. A long cap up-down projection 74 is formed on a lower part extending from the secondary closing ring projection 73.

[25] On the lower part of the cap 1, there is formed a skirt 61, which is coupled to the

lower part of the projection of the cap 1 by means of a connection 62. On the internal side of the skirt 61, there is formed a stop projection ring 63.

[26] Now, the body 2 will be described. Referring to Fig.2, on the lower part of the body 2, a joining part 100 is formed so that the body 2 can be joined or melt to a refilling liquid container not shown in the figure. On the outer top of the body 2, there is formed a closing rod 10. Outside of the closing rod 10 in a radius direction thereof, a closing projection ring 13 is formed.

[27] In this case, the closing projection ring 13 of the body 2 is engaged with the ring- shaped closing groove 72 of the cap 1, and the closing rod 10 with the outlet closing 70 of the cap 1, in order to achieve closing of the refilling liquid container. When closing of the refilling liquid container is achieved while the closing rod 10 of the body 2 is engaged with the outlet closing 70 of the cap 1, the ring-shaped round recess 60 formed on top of the cap 1 contributes to elastic closing of the outlet closing 70.

[28] The ring-shaped closing projection 13 and the closing rod 10 are connected each other by means of a plurality of closing rod connection support ribs which are spaced each other. In this case, there exists space among the closing rod connection support ribs 12, and this space is called a liquid outlet 11 where the content contained in the refilling liquid container is taken out.

[29] On the outer side of the central part of the body 2, a thread 22 and an elongated groove 21 are formed. As shown in Fig.l, when the cap 1 is turned after coupling the cap 1 to the body 2, the elongated cap up-down projection 74 of the cap 1 moves up and down along the path of the elongated groove 21 while being inserted in the elongated groove 21 of the body 2.

[30] When the cap is turned upward, the elongated cap up-down projection 74 rises along the path of the long groove 21, and the liquid outlet 11 and the opening 200 are opened while the cap 1 thereby rises. In this case, the elongated cap up-down projection 74 of the cap 1 is stopped by the elongated groove 21 and the thread 22 and is thus not detached any more. The cap 1 has to be turned in the opposite direction to the aforementioned direction, e.g. downward to close the opening 200.

[31] The body 2 is further provided with a skirt stop rim 41 and a skirt support 42.

When the cap 1 is coupled to the body 2, the projected stop 63 formed on the skirt 61 of the cap 1 is stopped on the lower part of the skirt stop rim 41, and the lower part of the skirt 61 is supported by the upper part of the skirt support 42. Through this process, it is possible to prevent alteration or forgery. A plurality of ribs 43 are further formed between the skirt stop rim 41 and the skirt support 42.

[32] Furthermore, as shown in Figs.7 and 8, an outer cap 3 is further provided in the invention. The outer cap 3 is configured to cover the outer side of the cap 1 when the cap 1 is coupled to the body 2, as shown in Fig.8.

[33] In order for the outer cap 3 to cover the outer side of the cap 1, an outer cap knurl

82 is formed on the internal side of the outer cap 3, as shown in Fig.7. As shown in Fig.3, on the outer side of the cap 1, a knurl part 66 corresponding to the outer cap knurl 82 is formed. On the lower internal surface of the outer cap 3, an outer cap stop ring projection 81 is further formed, which is stopped by the lower part of the skirt support 42 shown in Figs. 2 and 8.

[34] Although not shown in detail in the figures, the outer cap knurl 82 of the outer cap

3 and the knurl part 66 of the cap 1 are constituted in a fillet configuration in which, if the outer cap 3 is simply turned, the outer cap knurl 82 of the outer cap 3 is not engaged with the knurl part 66 of the cap 1, so that the outer cap 3 runs idle and the cap 1 is thus not rotated, either. However, if the outer cap 3 is pressed, the outer cap knurl 82 of the outer cap 3 is engaged with the knurl part 66 of the cap 1 together like a cogwheel. In this state, when the outer cap 3 is turned, the cap 1 moves upward while rotating, as described above, and the cap 1 is then opened from the body 2. Of course, in this case, the outer cap stop projection ring 81 of the outer cap 3 is separated from the skirt support 42 and then moves upward. As such, the reason that cap 1 is opened only when the outer cap 3 is pressed and turned aims for security for children.

[35] The assembly as shown in Fig.8 is implemented when the cap 1 is put on the body

2 and pressed from the top to couple the cap 1 to the body 2 and then to put and press the outer cap 3 on the cap 1.

[36] The present invention has been described in detail. However, it should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating preferred embodiments of the invention, are given by way of illustration only, since various changes and modifications within the spirit and scope of the invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from this detailed description.

[37] In the claims, any reference signs placed between parentheses shall not be construed as limiting the claims. Use of the verb "comprise" and its conjugations does not exclude the presence of elements or steps other than those stated in a claim. The article "a" or "an" preceding an element does not exclude the presence of a plurality of such elements.

[38] The mere fact that certain measures are recited in mutually different dependent claims does not indicate that a combination of these measures cannot be used to advantage.
