Abstract:

Provided is a structure surface antifouling method capable of decreasing work load, increasing work accuracy and reducing contamination during work, and whereby an excellent antifouling property can be exerted. Also provided is a sealing adhesive tape that may be used preferably for such a structure surface antifouling method. This structure surface antifouling method is a method whereby at least a portion of a structure surface is lined with a plurality of sheets, each having on the surface thereof an antifouling layer (A1), thereby applying an antifouling property to at least a portion of the structure surface, the method comprising pasting an adhesive tape containing an antifouling layer (A2) and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (B) in such a manner as to cover together edge portions of the sheets that are adjacent. This sealing adhesive tape is an adhesive tape which contains the antifouling layer (A2) and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (B), and covers together the edge portions of the sheets that are adjacent whereof each has on the surface thereof the antifouling layer (A1).
