Abstract:
Provided is a submerged arc welded joint for an Mn-rich steel material, which rarely undergoes the occurrence of high-temperature cracking during welding and has high strength and excellent cryogenic impact toughness. The welded joint is configured such that: the Mn-rich steel material has a chemical composition containing, in % by mass, 0.10 to 0.80% of C, 0.05 to 1.00% of Si, 18.0 to 30.0% of Mn, 0.030% or less of P, 0.0070% or less of S, 0.010 to 0.070% of Al, 2.5 to 7.0% of Cr, 0.0050 to 0.0500% of N, 0.0050% or less of O, and a remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities; and a welding metal has a chemical composition containing, in % by mass, 0.10 to 0.80% of C, 0.05 to 1.00% of Si, 15.0 to 30.0% of Mn, 0.030% or less of P, 0.030% or less of S, 0.100% or less of Al, 6.0 to 14.0% of Cr, 0.100% or less of N, and a remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities.
