Abstract:
Provided is a welded joint that includes a weld metal and that is submerged arc welded at a heat input of 300 kJ/cm or more. In this submerged arc welded joint, the weld metal has a specific component composition, has specific yield strength, tensile strength, and absorption energy when a V-notch Charpy impact test is performed at a test temperature of 0°C, and results in Ceq represented by formula (1) to fall in a range of 0.65-1.00 and α represented by formula (2) to fall in a range not more than 6.0. (1): Ceq=[C]+0.17[Mn]+0.04[Si]+0.025[Ni]+0.2[Cr]+0.25[Mo]
(2): α=30[C]+0.7[Mn]+[Ni]-([Si]+0.5[Cr]+1.5[Mo])
In formulae (1) and (2), [element] represents the contained amount (mass%) of said element in the weld metal.
