Abstract:
A subtitle adjustment method and a display device. When watching a video resource having a subtitle using a display device, if a user finds that a sound does not match the subtitle, the user can input a page display instruction to the display device (200), so that a controller (110) controls a display (260) to display a subtitle adjustment page; after viewing the subtitle adjustment page, the user can input to the display device (200) a subtitle adjustment instruction for selecting a certain time offset; the controller (110) then calculates a target playback progress time point in response to the instruction; finally, the controller (110) controls the display (260) to play a target subtitle content corresponding to the target playback progress time point while playing the video resource corresponding to the target playback progress time point.
