A sugar-reducing sweetener, comprising at least one high-intensity sweetener, at least one bulk-type sweetener and at least one sugar-like sweet substance, wherein the use amounts of the high-intensity sweetener and the bulk-type sweetener meet the condition that the sweetness after the high-intensity sweetener and the bulk-type sweetener are compounded is close to that of the sugar-like sweet substance. During use, the sugar-like sweet substance can be added in any proportion according to the requirements for the sugar-reducing proportion, so that the content of sugar is greatly reduced, and the purposes of reducing blood sugar and reducing sugar are achieved. In a method for preparing the sugar-reducing sweetener, an intermittent spraying method is adopted, so that the final product is stable in quality, all the ingredients are tightly and uniformly adhered, the moisture content is low, the dissolution rate in water is high, the stability after dissolution is excellent, and precipitation and discoloration are avoided after long-time placement.
