Abstract:
A sulfur-modified chloroprene rubber which has a functional group A that is represented by general formula (A) and is positioned at an end of the molecule and a functional group B that is represented by general formula (B) and is positioned at an end of the molecule, and which is configured such that: the mass ratio B/A of the content of the functional group B to the content of the functional group A is from 0.10 to 12.00; and the total amount of the functional group A and the functional group B is from 0.15% by mass to 1.00% by mass. (In formula (A), Ra represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms.) (In formula (B), each of Rb1 and Rb2 independently represents an optionally substituted alkyl group or an optionally substituted aryl group.)
