Sunflower - Seed Peeler

The low price and the healthy characterize of the sunflower oil, lead to increase its production. The produced oil will be in a poor quality if the seed pressed with their rinds which affect the smell and the color of the produced oil, to overcome this problem I have invented a new peeler to peel the seed before the pressing process. The Description of the Invention:-

The invented peeler can either be horizontal or vertical one, according to the position of the transmitting shaft ⁽¹⁾ that ends by a hoop with belt tunnel ^(2> when using a belt gearing. This shaft turns the inner stone ⁽⁴⁾ which acts the peeling function while it moves inside the outer stone ^<5) .

The inner stone can be composed of rough skewer or ribbed skewer as square in its section, or it can be made of coarse metal sheet that can be in ribbon structure, it can be made of iron, cobalt or any other suitable metal for the design.

The outer stone can be divided into two parts. The peeler have to be equipped with a sucking fan^ to draw the rind away off the peeling case ⁽⁶⁾ through a side apparatus. This fan can be placed near, or far from the peeler attached to the peeling case by sucking channel ⁽⁸⁾ , and it can be turned using belt with the transmitting shaft or separated motor.

The peeler can be fed manually by labor when it is designed for a small capacity, or it can be equipped with helical conveyer that end to feeding gate ^<9) and there is another gate ⁽¹⁰⁾ for getting the processed seed.

For extremely large production capacity, a multi-unit peeler can be used (e.g. a factory). It can be also designed to be carried in a truck; in this case, it can use the engine of the truck to switch the peeler.

This sunflower peeler can be used for processing various seeds; for example, peeling the inner rind of the peanut, the sesame and the maize. That can be done by changing the speed of the inner stone and the dimensions according to the size of the seed.
