Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a super absorbent polyacrylic acid (salt)-based resin powder that has an excellent water absorption ratio under elevated pressure, a high water absorption speed and an excellent liquid permeability, and a method for manufacturing the same. The aforesaid problem is solved by a method for manufacturing a super absorbent resin powder, said method comprising adding an inorganic compound to a hydrous gel-like crosslinked polymer obtained in a step for polymerizing a polyacrylic acid (salt), and grinding the resultant mixture under specific gel-grinding conditions, and the super absorbent resin powder thus obtained.
