Abstract:
Disclosed is a super-hydrophobic hemispherical array capable of realizing a droplet pancake bounce function. The super-hydrophobic hemispherical array is of an arc shape with a narrow upper portion and a wide lower portion, wherein an included angle from a base-air interface through external air to a base-hemisphere interface is α, the diameter of a contact surface between a hemispherical structure and a base is d, a distance between adjacent hemispheres is s, the vertical height between the top of a hemisphere and a bottom surface of the base is h, and 70° ≤ α ≤ 90°, 900 μm ≤ d ≤ 1700 μm, s ≤ 550 μm and 600 μm ≤ h ≤ 1100 μm are respectively met; and a contact angle of the super-hydrophobic hemisphere array with a droplet is greater than or equal to 150°, and a rolling angle thereof is less than or equal to 10°. The super-hydrophobic hemisphere array can not only present a droplet pancake bounce phenomenon, but also has a better mechanical strength than existing columnar arrays capable of realizing a droplet pancake bounce function.
