Abstract:
According to the present invention, provided are: a super water repellent cerium oxide nano/microstructure directly grown on various substrates, and a preparation method therefor; and a heat exchanger containing the super water repellent cerium oxide nano/microstructure, and a manufacturing method therefor. The present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a cerium oxide precursor mixture solution containing a cerium oxide precursor; dipping a substrate or an already prepared heat exchanger into the cerium oxide precursor mixture solution, and then forming a cerium oxide nano/microstructure on the surface of the substrate or the heat exchanger by using a hydrothermal synthesis method; and forming a super water repellent cerium oxide nano/microstructure by drying the formed cerium oxide nano/microstructure under a vacuum atmosphere. Therefore, a cerium oxide nano/microstructure having super water repellent characteristics can be provided, and a heat exchanger with improved electrothermal characteristics can be provided.
