Abstract:
For a superconducting coil used in an MRI device, it is necessary to arrange superconducting wires at desired positions to obtain a desired coil shape in order to obtain a high-strength, high-uniformity, and time-stable electrostatic field. A superconducting coil (1) comprises: a winding frame (2); a spacer (3) disposed on the outer circumference of the winding frame (2) and equipped with spiral winding grooves (5) and a connecting groove (6) provided between the winding grooves (5); and a coil group constituted of superconducting wires (4) being wound around the winding grooves (5). As a result, it is possible to obtain the superconducting coil (1), which has a desired coil shape.
