Abstract:
A superconducting coil provided with: a coil body on which a superconducting wire is wrapped; an electrode member having a first surface facing the outer circumferential surface of the coil body, a second surface positioned opposite the first surface, a base part joined with solder to the superconducting wire of the coil body on the first surface, and an extension part that extends from the second surface to the outer side of the coil body; and a superconducting wire for the electrode, the superconducting wire extending from the second surface of the electrode member toward the extension part, and being joined with solder across the base part and the extension part. The relationship between the width W1 of the superconducting wire of the coil body, the width W2 of the base part of the electrode member, and the width W3 of the superconducting wire for the electrode satisfies the expression W1 > W2 ≥ W3.
