Abstract:
This superconducting electromagnet device is provided with a superconducting coil (2), a refrigerant container (3), a freezer (8), a heat exchanger (11), and a cooling tube (13). The refrigerant container (3) accommodates a refrigerant that cools the superconducting coil (2). The freezer (8) comprises a freezing stage. The heat exchanger (11) is disposed within the refrigerant container (3), is connected to the freezing stage, and cools gasified refrigerant. The cooling tube (13) comprises a base section (14) and a peripheral wall section (15) that rises from the outer edge of the base section (14), and the cooling tube (13) surrounds the heat exchanger (11) in the interior of the refrigerant container (3). The cooling tube (13) comprises an opening (16) in the peripheral wall section (15) that allows gasified refrigerant to flow through and retains refrigerant in a liquid state that has been recondensed by the heat exchanger (11) in the base section (14).
