Abstract:
This superconducting rectangular wire material for a superconducting coil comprises: a NbTi-based or Nb3Sn-based wire material, the surface of which is covered with a copper-based material; and a fusion resin layer which covers the outer peripheral surface of the wire material and is formed from a thermoplastic fusion resin, wherein in a lateral cross-section of the superconducting rectangular wire material for a superconducting coil, the curvature radius (R2) of a corner section of the fusion resin layer is less than or equal to the curvature radius (R1) of a corner section of the wire material.
